I made 2 kinds of cookies for gifts, so I bagged them in separate baggies. When I measured the tops of the bags, I could have sworn they measured 6 5/8 inches, so I went with 6.75 for the width of my toppers, but I wish I'd gone with 7 to cover the bags more fully. For my cookie toppers, I made it 6 5/8 inches wide by 4 inches, allowing 2 inches height for each side of the package.
