So beautiful and precious. I took some pictures like these this past holiday of my daughter foster baby. I wish I could scrap them and post but unfortunately we can not unless he becomes officially adopted. Meanwhile I will hold on to those precious photos too. Tfs
Hi! Again, thanks for letting us use your layout. The blog post is now live and you can check it out here: https://scrapbookcampus.com/2020/10/theme-lights/ :)
This is absolutely adorable! I love the Christmas sentiment - who amongst us doesn't remember hoping that Christmas wouldn't be a moment late when we were youngsters? :)
I love the warm glow of the Christmas lights in her face. Really lovely photo. Beautiful page, as you always do! Love the deep punch and the ornament hanging from the title.

Really beautiful photos! I couldn't capture the glow of the tree without getting a blurry shot. You're so lucky! You did a beautiful job with this page.
Love all those wonderful techniques and your description makes it sound so easy! You do such creative layouts. Helen Grace is an adorable subject, too!
very unforgettable adorable, beautiful lo, and such cute fotos of your precious lil g/d she looks like a real lil sweetie, luv the layering of the papers andthe poinsettia flowers
Some photos of my DGD, Helen Grace, that I took right before Christmas. I used Basic Grey Figgy Pudding Collection. The photo corner was punched with a MS "deep" punch - scalloped edges with flowers. The ornaments I made with ppr, embossed with a Cuttlebug swiss dots, then I made the gold top with gold foil paper. Tiny red bows were tied and adhered with glue dots. The Santa is an old K&Co embossed sticker that's been in my stash forever! The scallop along the bottom edge of the layout was punched with another MS punch. I edged the striped paper (under the dotted scallop) with a gold foil pen. I added a few poinsettas, gold string and a holly leaf. I also used 3-D paint for the gold dots on the polka-dotted scalloped edge across the bottom. Title work was cut with the Epic - except for the word Christmas, which is chipboard letters that I inked with red ink, then added a few white highlights. Journaling is tucked behind the photo and reads:
Helen Grace, I love these photos of you gently touching the ornaments on the tree. You have been so excited about Christmas this year. I love the way your eyes light up when you look at the tree and when you talk about Santa Claus coming on Christmas Eve. Sure hope he gets out of the North Pole on time….we wouldn’t want him to be late!
