Journaling reads: "Looking back at all my Christmases there are only a few that stand out. I think my earliest childhood memory of Christmas is when I was 9 years old. Me and my sister went downstairs before everyone else and I opened 2 presents. It was a teddy bear coin bank and a puppet of a lion I named Lampbert. The other memory I have, I don't remember the year, but it was Christmas Eve and I don't remember what my puppy, Crystal, my parents dog did, but her punishment was to be locked in the basement. So, me and my sister decieded to sleep in the basement with Crystal. It was very cold! We slept on the cement with our sleeping bags. Then, next thing we know my brother, Jason comes downstairs to tell us that its Christmas. I don't remember what I got that year either. My next memory is when I'm 16 and the year is 1997. That was the year that I met Clayton. My mom told me that I could only see him for 10 minutes. So, Clayton came over and we opened presents. I got from Clayton: a teddy bear, LeAnn Rimes c.d. single of the song: "How do I live" and I also got a set with earrings, bracelet, and heart necklace and Clayton wrote me a poem. My other memory was the year 2000, where I got to sleepover at Clayton's house. Other than that I remember I got Clayton a Nintendo 64 and that's all I remember. My last memory that I recall was our first Christmas as a married couple. It was the year 2001 and that was the year I lost my job 2 months before Christmas and we had to get rid of our car also because it broke down on us on the freeway. I don't remember what I got for Christmas that year, but all that mattered was that we had each other that year to get through it."
