Oh my, I hope you are OK....be careful!! I love your journaling, you always make me laugh! This is one of the reasons why I'm not fond of Winter...I've fallen too many times and with two bad arms already I don't need a broken hip/leg!!! [:<)
do be careful... they just cleared our sidewalks today - laughed at the little bobcat and driver as the pile of snow in front of the blades was almost higher than the bobcat.
OH Kate, your description of everyday life is so wonderful. My description of this icy frozen crud surely includes some 4 letter words. I almost went a** over tea kettle this morning in the parking lot at my work!
Who has time to notice the horizon? They finally got our sidewalks all dug out from the Christmas storm and now we can walk. HAH! Even the dogs are having trouble here, it rained and turned the sidewalks to slush and then froze with everyones boot prints and dog prints and then snowed over the top. The snowblowers removed the 12 inches on top and we are left with jagged ice to walk on. Can't be done unless you have four legs! I took a couple of tumbles just going around the block, horizon? I must keep my eyes on my feet and my hands ready to balance, or I will be lying on my back and the horizon will be out of sight behind those snow walls along the sidewalk. Bad news for dog walkers.
