A great idea very effective, I seem to have hundreds of cards, been collecting them since I was 16 - thats 25 year, I hadn't heard of scrapping then! :) :) :)
I did this lift too...although mine looks totally different. I love how everyone's is based on the same idea, but how everyone's looks different. Good job on yours!!
Amy, of all the lifts I have seen of Ali's, I think I like yours the best! I love how you did the 2005, and I see that our family picture got two squares. I feel special! And I see Frank, too!
After seeing Sonya's (Dragonflymama's) I was going to dig mine up today and do this...but it's just been that kind of day! I'll tell you about it later!
Looks great!! I saw this on Ali's blog, and had to try it myself (in 8.5 x 11). I just love how you did those tags on the top with the year... Nice work! :)
Oh girl!!! You're fast!!!!! Love that red mat and how you did the "2005"!!!! (Don't tell anyone, but my 2004 cards stayed out for more than half of 2005.)
I first saw this idea used by DragonflyMama- http://www.scrapbook.com/scrapbook_layouts/showphoto.php/photo/174340/cat/500/ppuser/15148 -and she linked hers to Ali Edwards- http://aliedwards.typepad.com/_a_/2005/12/index.html I thought the idea was really cool, and since I had all of my cards still hanging on my door... I went to work. This is what I came up. If you look closely, you may see a few of our sb.c neighbors!
