Wow Krissy WELL DONE!! Just gorgeous! I just love that paper.. our store hasn't gotten that in.. It's so pretty.. but I'm almost done with christmas, I could do some more but I want to see spring now LOL You did a wonderful job on this one!
Had to come back.. I didn't see the stitching the first time... YOU used the sewing machine and went around those curves?? BRAVO!! I haven't tried to sew on paper.. I might if I find a challenge to do something you haven't done. I THINK I can do a straight line.... lol I think.
FAB job.. into my Favs!!
The reason for my title was because all of my children, who are pieces of my heart, come home for the Christmas holiday. This is my daughter Lindsey who is a senior in college (and who lives about two and a half hours away from me). I made all the kids pose separately in front of the Christmas tree this year, and this close-up of Lindsey was one of my favorites! Of course, I had to do a little stitching. The gold snowflake is actually a cheap ornament. The black swirls are Prima, and the pink pearls are from Martha Stewart. The scalloped border to the side of the pic was cut using some scissors that my 9 year old had in her stash. I figure since she's always taking things out of mine and since I bought her the scissors - I could certainly borrow them!
