We left Columbus at 4:30 pm right after a torrential downpour. It ended up raining most of the way through Ohio, Indiana and Illinois. Right before we got to Chicago it stopped and was clear for the rest of the trip. Neither Tim nor I had ever been to Chicago. It was big and the traffic was horrible! I was very happy when we left the city. Tim did all the driving and I slept a lot of the way. We ended up driving straight through. The only time we stopped was to eat dinner and put gas in the car. We were both very happy to enter Superior, WI.
