Well, I buy stamps faster than I can use them. The problem....:-( I buy EVERY stamp I like. The hope is since I am 47 years old I can use them before I die;-) LOLOLOL
Wow! And people say I have a lot of stuff! :-)
I spend a lot of money on shipping (and unfortunately customs) as well... What I really really miss is the great scrapbooking furniture sold in the US.
Please let me move into your scraproom!!! I'll stay in the corner and I can survive on a few Goldfish and a Dr. Pepper a day!! I love your room and DH is going to be hearing a lot about it too.
Scraphappy, Come visit. Everything is so different, modern. Lots of things from the states here. The weather here is in the 70's or above. Only thing is that its hard to find scrapbooking supplies. Sad when I go to a store and the have about 7 different rubber stamps. I spend alot of money on shipping charges. My rubber stamp collection has grown by a few hundred more since the pictures. LOL Yep, really addicted :-)
Wow, not only is your space amazing, but living in la isla de encanto!! My parents are from PR. I have not been there in over 20 years. Your oasis is awesome. Enjoy, create and salud.
Just a quick note. For those of you who would like to add counter space to your scraproom...Homedepot sells cabinets already assembled for about $200-$300 dollars. The onlything is that you really can't choose the color. But they do have nice ones. You can also just buy just the counter top and put plastic bins under it. I looked around for a bit and had mine custom made ONLY because the price was right.
Thanks for the comments. I play here alot and yes it looks too neat....thats because I am a neat freak. When I am done playing I clean all my stamps (they last longer that way)LOL. and I put everything back so I find it next time. I pull out so many things at once it might be too much if I let it sit around.:-)
Wow Liz, You weren't kidding when you said 1000's of stamps : ) I'm so jealous of all your stamps & your beautiful space to create!! I have all my stuff in one of our spare bedrooms & got some great 3 drawers organizers for xmas that hold 12x12 paper, so I"m getting there w/the organization. the only thing is, is that I scrap in our dinningroom, which is off of the livingroom, that way my husband is near by & we can still watch tv together, though he controls the remote -LOL! I think your workspace is incredible, but I think it looks a little to NEAT, time to mess it up w/a new project : )
Thank you all for you comments. This is my favorite room. It's very relaxing. I only wish I could find some scrappers close by so we could all get together and play. I relocated here from the states and I am meeting new people now. I play here almost everyday. The stamps are organized by occassions, except the ones with sentiments. Those are all together so when I want to say something for any occassion I find it at a glance. :-) If you are ever in the area, your more than welcome here.
