oh this is wonderful and so timely for me - I am getting married this year to a wonderful man I almost married a few years ago but I didn't really understand this Grown Up type of love at the time....Thank Heavens for me, he was patient and God was too.
This layout was for the Dec Scrap your .... challenge which was LOVE. I didn't get it done in time but that is what inspired me to do this layout. It met the twist of having one picture of an inanimate object. This will go in my bom album which is a 6 x 12 album. Journaling: Love is loving yourself. Love is meeting your spouse where they are not where you expect them to be. Love is putting your spouse first even when you don't feel like it (humbling yourself). Love is having boundaries. Love is knowing your spouse is NOT your everything (that's God's job). Love is forgiveness. Love is knowing your spouse well enough to know what they need. Love is wanting the best for your spouse. Love is communicating the good and the bad. Love is learning how to dance and understanding toes are going to be stepped on. Love is understanding. Love is sacrifice. Love is being honest with yourself and each other. Love is the little things. Love is a work in progress. January 2010.
