I just love your l/o's...you are so creative! I have a question - on your Love" l/o from 2008, what have you used/done to add the border around the striped circle? I see like this but can't figure out how it's done. Thank you and keep up the beautiful work! [email protected]
Geeeesh! This is sooo awesome! I LOVE those "stones"!! I went to your blog and read the tutorial. I was expecting 15 step process with all kinds of material.... but 4 items?!?!? and it just so happens I have all 4...and 4 easy peasy beautiful (as they say on ANTM for Cover Girl!) steps.....I'm going to make some of those stones! Don't have any l/o's planned for them...but who cares!! Thanks so much for the idea and the inspiration and the tutorial!! All your pages are gorgeous! Last month I received my very first kit from My Creative Scrapbook! And seeing your beautiful l/o's for the next kit has given me so many ideas!....Can't wait to receive the January kit!!! Thanks...and PS you have beautiful dd's!
I really love the color combo ~ Love your faux stones, too ~ they look so real!!! I love this sweet pic of you with the girls and the large bloom is perfect! Another awesome layout!!!
I love the stones... when I first saw this in the MCS gallery I was wondering how you created them, they look so real and so beautiful on this LO. I love how you get inspiration for your LOs from all kinds of places but everything you do reallly comes out great
OOOOOHHHHHHHHHHH , my gosh ! this is stunning!!!!!!!!!!! I will try to do those polished stones!!!!!!!!!, I can't believe that is paper!! it really looks like real stone!!! great job, Gabi you are the Queen of the scrapbooking!!
I absolutely LOVE those "polished stones"!!! And the color is perfect, brings out the blue in the picture!! It amazes me how you think up these cool things to do with paper. I'll have to go and check out your blog and learn some secrets!!
The polished stones are a FANTASTIC idea!!! Definitely gonna try that!! ..and that light blue you did them with really tie into the photo colors! Awesome!
You really knocked my socks off with this one! How you come up with the most amazing art projects is a mystery, but your turquoise stones are out of this world clever and beautiful. Gorgeous work.
First, the faux polished stones are ingenious and look more real than faux. (I had to enlarge this layout and still couldn't tell!) Second, the white flowers with the metal and gem centres are gorgeous and very elegant. Finally, the warm fall colours you used for this layout suit the photo perfectly.
Wow! At first, I thought that the "stones" were covered with diamond glaze or something! I really had to look closely to see that it's just the white pen! Great illusion! Lovely layout!!
I'm often asked where I come up with some of the ideas I use on my pages. I made up these Faux Polished Stones out of some light blue cardstock and some ink! My Inspiration? Don't laugh, I was watching America's Next Top Model when I was working on this page and saw the models come out with these chunky turquois necklaces.....and thought hmmm, bet I could make those out of some cardstock, and it worked!!

This l/o was made from the fun kit items in the January Main kit from MY CREATIVE SCRAPBOOK.
