WOW... WOW... WOW!!! I ABSOLUTELY L*O*V*E this layout of Baby Jade!! Love how you brought it all together to match her photo and jewelry!! Pretty pink pearl flowers. I think the smaller picture in the back looks like Meagan. :)
I just visited your blog on My Creative Scrapbook and now can't wait to try your Kanzashi Blooms. I have lots of leftover satin ribbon from my 11 yr old and 4 yr old daughter's scrapbooks, so I can't wait to try these. They're just beautiful and MUCH cheaper than buying every flower for $3-6 bucks. Thanks so much for sharing your tips! 8=)
I was so intrigued by your flower, I went to your blog then read both you & Nancy's rose tutorials. I just love this and I'm certain every square inch of everything I do will have these roses on them now. Hmmm, I wonder if I could glue some onto the dogs? Thanks so much for sharing how to do these - they are lovely and because you can use cardstock or pp, diff shaped scizzors, the possibilities are endless. I can't wait to make them!
Absolutely, positively, DARLING!!!!!! Pink and black is my fave....and the gorgeous elements you created, just take this page to a whole new level! I LOVE this!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is exactly the type of layout I want to make for my granddaughter...beautiful and elegant. The beautiful baby and colors add to its class. Great job!!!
This is another l/o I made using the awesome goodies in the January Limited Edition Kit from MY CREATIVE SCRAPBOOK! There are loads and loads of the Prima black crystal flourishes in this one kit! I had fun playing with the black accents in this kit.....mixing it with some pink cardstock. The circle brocade design is a transparency sheet which I adhered to the page behind the photo and with some carefully placed dots of black pearl 3D paint around the edges.
The blooms are made from punched cardstock and then painted with pink pearl paint and edges with glitter glue (Stickles). To make the large bloom I used a pattern that I shared at MCS in the tutorials a little while back and some watercolour painted coffee filters.
