This is a layout made for the Monthly Sketch Challenge Week #1 .. with the twist... as long as I didn't twist to much! lol Let me know ASAP, I don't think I can get another layout done before you post week two though.. so I hope this one fits. Its all there,, with a few additions. such as Text.. and a few extras.
I just have to say the layering is done exactly the same as the sketch.. its just the blues are so close its hard to tell that the 2nd layer from the top is actually not part of the 3rd.. if that made sense.
In hindsight I would of edged it with blue to show that all layers are the same as the sketch.
The black and white paper is double layered over the flourish and leaves, which I cut from another sheet of paper and placed it over the same image, just raising it, so it has dimension. Boy thats hard to tell in the picture. AS well I hope you can see the metal wire wrapped around the screws, which are "holding" up the journaling strips.
The Birds are from Inkadinkado Birds Galore stamps, Stamped with Brilliance Pigment Ink Pad, Graphite Black, then used Stamp n' Stuff Detailed Black embossing powder and heat gun.
The scalloped edges are done on my Cricut Expressions. The double scalloped border was created with my cricut software.

Also added it to Jan. 4 the Boys challenge.
I"m Also added it to Jan. Stamp in the New Year With stamped and embossed images.


This is a layout of my youngest Son Kyle, who will turn 18 in a 2.5 weeks. I'm not sure if all moms feel like this when their youngest grows up, but boy its been hard to take, feeling like as he grows he's just grows farther away.
For the Text Which you can not read because its just to small. I wrote just a few short things that happened just 10 years ago.

Just 10 years ago, you would talk, until my ears fell off!!

Just 10 years ago, You loved to monkey around and climb these big trees.

Just 10 years ago, you went from below my eyesight to towering over me.

Just 10 years ago, a hug and I Love You came from you every night.

Just 10 Years, you went from this cute little boy to a handsome young man.

Although I sometimes want time to stand still and have back my chatty little Kyle, and even though there have been so many changes, I'm still very proud of the young man that you've become and never forget I Love You. Always. Mom
