Okay, so maybe a wagon ride to the Faith pond isn't a daring adventure. At least that's what Daddy said. But I love how in your eyes these simple things are an adventure. The blessing of having children (well, one of the many blessings) is having the chance to see the world through childlike eyes. I love how every outing is an exciting experience for you, whether it's a wagon ride, a trip to the zoo, or just an errand to the post office. I have known you to sit for an hour watching men (and a cement truck) pour a driveway. You see what is small, what passes below adult radar, and in your eyes it is big, and fun, and exciting. That's why a wagon ride to the pond is an adventure for you – because you might get to pull the wagon, or meet someone new, or see a goose, or throw rocks in the water. Because to a child, every new experience is a chance for adventure. Thank you for sharing it with me.
