Hi, Gabi - I have been waiting to try these roses and now seems to be the perfect time as I can carry my supplies with me on vacation. I'll let you know how they worked out. TFS
I just made my first one..I am working with a punch that is a little too small so it's really intricate and sticky :P I do love the final product though. I NEED a bigger flower punch now!
These are BEAUTIFUL! Thanks so much for your tutorial! I gave it a try with an 8 petal punch. Slighty different result, but just as pretty! Take a peek at my gallery and tell me what you think! Thanks again for sharing! FAVE!
Thanks for this tutorial. I went on the hunt for a 6 petal punch but then found a coluzzle template i had. It's a little big...but it'll do for now. It wows the friends and i like to wow people lol...thanks ;)
THank you for this great tutorial. I love making my own flowers and these little cuties are awesome! I used old prima hydrangeas to make new ones on most of my latest lo´s.
Hi Gabi!! :) Perfect tutorial... thanks! Please tell your precious little Chloe that she did an AWESOME job!! It's too bad you live so far away... our girls would have a blast together!! Big hugs sweetie... Tracy
These are beautiful!!!! The girls did an awesome job!! LOVE those papers too, such pretty colors! I printed your tutorial and guess what.... I've been making them too!!! I make them while I watch TV at night. Now I need to get back to scrapping and use them on my pages. One question though, your middle petals look a little different than the tutorial. I love it! But I can't figure out what's different or how you did it.
I tried these from your tutorial and they are really easy to make and are really cute. I have a 5 petal punch so i used that and just modified it a bit. Thanks for sharing! and I'm amazed at how creative your daughter is
Thanks for sharing. I tried this last night. I also tried it with a different shaped flower punch (more like a daisy with longer petals). It doesn't look like a rose, but still very nice. :)
For the past few months I've been adding little rose blooms to my l/o's that I made from patterned paper and cardstock using a simple 6 petal punch. A lot of you have been asking me how to make them so I'm posting a link to a tutorial I did on these http://mycreativescrapbook.invisionzone.com/index.php?showtopic=1743&st=0
Believe it or not my 11 year old daughter made this bunch of little rosebuds when she was crafting with some of her friends over the holidays. They're easy to do and are really addictive! LOL! .....they can also be made with 5 petal punches as some members have told me they tried it!! Enjoy!
