Oh wow, I just read quick silver's comment and I never realised you and Laura were friends in real life. Maybe you two need to take a trip down under, here in Oz where it's summer at the moment, that'll keep your spirits up. That was very nice of Laura to allow this "cute" photo of her LOL. XOX Lucy.
whoa... those eyes in the dark are kinda scary... but love the glitzy sun around them. I think I need a pair of these, I suffer from SAD, too. Love your doodling!
This layout is hilarous, Sharon. I love the way you added the sunshine around the "floating eyes." The title is perfect, as is your colour scheme. I also like the black and white paper that looks like it has little suns on it. The ladybug is a sweet touch, and I love the "You make me laugh" tag. Thank you for doing such a fun and humourous layout in such detail. You make me laugh too.
You and Laura make quite a pair and I want to hang out with you! Those glasses are a hoot and I think that's their magic: they make others around you laugh, which cheers the wear-er up too!! Your LO is crafted so perfectly and I love how you scrapped the "disembodied eyes floating in the darkness"! (BTW, that is kind of creepy!) Great job on the doodling, Sharon, and I love the way you journaled too. Thanks for brightening my day!!
Some people -- like my friend Laura and I -- suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder, where the lack of sunlight in the winter months makes us feel sluggish and tired. A friend of hers gave her a pair of "Health Glasses" that when worn daily are supposed to enhance your sense of well-being. I asked her if they were blinding because the light seems to shine right into her eyes, but she said they were "not too bright" - although she feels that way when she puts them on. And when she walks around in the dark while wearing them, she appears to be nothing but a pair of disembodied eyes floating in the darkness. Wasn't she a great sport to let me do this layout of her and post it on the internet?
