both layouts are great. I like how this paper goes so well with his shirt and the distress color goes with the reddish tint to his hair.

1 Year Portrait (2nd version)

Okay, I couldn't decide what paper to use for my son's 1 year portrait. You'll find a similar layout here:

On this version, I used Karen Foster Design's pps. I loved the distressed look of them and also thought they matched my son's shirt.
