The photo is disappointing compared to the actual card. I used a toothpick to apply tiny dots of glue to apply the 1,006 2mm and 3mm hot fix rhinestones. Then I pressed the card with the rhinestones between two layers of muslin on a board to heat the rhinestone glue backing.
I applied two layers of microbeads to fill the stars as neither glue I tried would cover well enough with one layer. I pearl glazed the gray card and sewed in an iridescent vellum insert for the sentiment inside the card.
