The pictures really do not do justice to the memories in my brain of all the fun times that we had at the beach. When I close my eyes I can almost picture these crazy american kids running around swimming and playing at the beach! And back then it was safe enough to walk there without your parents! Italy

In March 2003 my parents and my brother and I went to Europe and Italy was ONE of the countries we went to. My mom was an army brat and was born in Livorno, Italy. This beach we are on is about 20 miles north of Livorno and she used to play here with my aunts and uncles when they were young. It was beautiful!
