I'm in a food recovery group at my church, and this verse was part of last week's study. The word "train" in the Greek means "to train as an athlete". It's not directly inspired by this week's Art Journal Caravan itinerary, but still I know part of the inspiration came from the process.
This young man was on a local basketball team with my husband's uncle back in the early 1920's. I thought his muscles were great for conveying his seriousness about his training plus I love that grin.
