great LO! I like how you used one of the numbers as your focal point, I have the exact same paper, and was really stumped how to use it, because the whole sheet is so pretty! great job!
Such a cute photo!! That flocked pp is perfect for this!!! And the poem is beautiful, this is a great way to preserve it for Katie and future generations too!
A favorite picture of Katie on her 1st birthday. The poem was written for her by my good friend as follows: "Lucky baby with parents so attuned to the wonder of this life and so solid in their love they created love in you. Child, press yourself close against their love and feel it nourish the marrow of your spirit. Sink into its comfort in the troubling times that are sure to come and dance to the rhythm of its heartbeat whenever times are good. Katie, your parents will teach you much, but they will teach you nothing greater than the freedom in the simple joy of living; in the joy of loving others. And when time seems so impossible to lose, when your now-small arms have become the arms of a woman cradling lightly in their curve the soft body of her baby, you will look for a long time into the innocent oceans of your infant's eyes and understand the possibilities of boundless love that your parents understand in you."
