As I said in Andrew's description, I made 2 LO of this same family photo of DS1, DIL, & the 2 DGC (Andrew & Lauren).
On Lauren's version I recreated a cut mat technique that I did 6 yrs ago in my Mom's album. Hard to explain but if you zoom in the matted photo sits on the print which sits under the main cardstock. Then I cut the 4 strips out around the print, placed plain stock in the holes & then framed out the whole thing on top of the cardstock. Make sense? I matted the outer borders just to frame in the whole thing.
