I made this for my 16 year old cousin who has just undergone his second 12 hour surgery for a tumor on his spine. He has such a sweet spirit, and if I can bring one smile to his face, the card will have hit its mark. It's not easy to come up with ideas for a teen-aged boy, and I hope he gets a kick out of this horse idea I got from Kokirose over at SCS. I drew the horse, colored him with Prisma colored pencils and Gamsol, and then cut out and pop-dotted his rear end and nose. I used embroidery thread for the cross-stitches on the frame around the horse. All the other stitching is faux. I printed the sentiment out on my computer.
