Several of you have commented on my cat perching on the top of a cabinet. Here is the reason why! Whenever I go downstairs, no matter where she is in the house, the dog, Abby, comes running and follows me down. She often perches on the third or fourth step and just watches the cat as the cat growls at her. If I'm down there for a while, she will come down and be a bit more aggressive on trying to play with the cat. The poor cat has pretty much styed in the basement full time since we brought Abby home a year and a half ago.
