I only used two different types of stitch on this baby afghan. Using my own pattern, I crocheted the proverb "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it."
Dh kept at me to make the lettering stand out more. So I experimented with beads. I came up with a technique where the beads are actually crocheted into the afghan. Each blanket takes almost 30 hours to make.
