One of my favourite los from my own Christmas journal. Our children's hospice is in the south of England, and we rarely have snow, but this year there was lots. Two of the staff built a snowman right outside the room of this young man, while he gave instructions! Then one of the staff -on impulse - threw a snowball INSIDE and thus a snowball fight developed - in the bedroom! This young man demanded his own snow - hence the yellow bowl full of snow on his bed. (He usually uses a wheelchair, so the bed gave much more scope for movement!). Anyone passing his bed - on the INSIDE of the house - from there on was taking a risk of having a snowball thrown at them! He had his own gloves on, plus rubber clinical gloves, and his hands were dry and as warm as toast. When the floor was covered with wet snow, he decided it was time to make his own snowman INSIDE - and there you see the little mini snowman in his hand! It was a magical moment - so naughty and so much fun, and everyone enjoyed it!
