Honky Tonk Man was a WWF wrestler back in the late 1980s and early 1990s. His gimmick was being and Elvis impersonator. He claimed that he was the greatest WWF/WWE Intercontinental Champion of all time. I got to meet him in person last year at the Fan Expo in Toronto.

To create the title, I used a black and white scrapbook paper that shows the headlights of a 50s or 60s car. Chipboard letters from Dollarama were used to trace the letters and then each letter was covered up with the paper afterwards.

I created the guitars by drawing the pieces by hand and then assembling each. I used some leftover scrapbook music paper. A hole punch and black card stock were used to create the music notes.

If you are wondering why I used the color pink, well there's a reason. It has to do with the words to the theme song the fans heard when he walked down the aisle to the ring.

The words are "Peggy's in the supersonic. The colonel's in the back. I'm going to tour your town in my pink cadillac. I'm just the Honky Tonk Man."
