Had to share what I got today for $34 (with tax!). There is a place not too far from me, in Long Beach, called Fabric Barn. It doesn't have a lot of fabric...they actually sell mostly ribbon and stuff to make favors for wedding and parties. I hadn't been in over a year, and it has changed. You used to go in and cut ribbon and write on a piece of paper what you had (3 yds. at .33 cents a yd...like that), but they have mostly phased out the stuff you cut on your own and now sell by the spool. The prices I'm told are wholesale, or close to it. Now, since you have to buy the spool, you get a lot of each, so you better like it :) I stuck to stuff I love:

Top row: 20 yards! of each of the red and black pom-pom ribbon! I love pom-pom ribbon and have paid I think $1.50 a yard for it, but this was $3 for a spool!

2nd row: 25 yards of each of the 3 inch tulle in blue, white, pink, brown, and purple. ($1 each)

3rd row: 25 yards of black ribbon with white stitching; 50 yards of gold satin cord; and 25 yards each of ric-rac in red, green, purple, and cream.

bottom: 400 each rhinestones in black, purple, blue and red. 200 rhinestone stars. AND those butterflies, 1 dozen each, which I bought from someone at Scrapbook expo for a lot more (she sold them by the piece, now I know where she shops LOL).

Anyway, I had fun...I always get overwhelmed in there, but I always love what I get for the money!
