(C) Thinking of You Card-Soldiers

I made this for the soldiers, so they have something to send home...

SUPPLIES:
Blank 6.5 x 5 inch card
Creative Imaginations
Lime green paper
White and Purple Cardstock
Northern Woods Rubber Stamp
Copic Markers
Black Embossing Powder, Embossing Ink Pad and Heat Gun
Adirondack Dye Ink pad, Lettuce
Black Ink pad

I started out by heat embossing the stamped image of the Vase w/ Flowers using black embossing powder. I stamped it on standard white cardstock. Then I colored it in with my Copic Markers. I cut out the background using my Cricut machine and the 2 squares in the corners. I attached them to the card. I cut out the stamp image and cut it out and matted it. I cut a strip of the purple patterned paper so I had somewhere to put the sentiment. First I used decorative scissors on the top and bottom of it...then added the sentiment which is a clear stamp. I used the Lettuce dye ink on the grungeboard heart. I wanted it to match the rest of the colors.
