Mother of the Year -don't judge (twisted sketch #32)

I am off and running, working on my latest goal for 2010…every twisted sketch since the blog’s beginning! here is the Twisted Sketch #32 with the twist being STAMPS, anyhow/anyway…you can check the actual sketch out over at www.twistedsketches.com and click on sketch #32. I struggled with this one a bit at the beginning…and changed the direction I was heading 2 times before this manifested! This is Baby Elizabeth, and yes, she fell asleep in her bouncer/walker! That is why it is titled “ Mother of the Year- Don’t Judge” – the journaling reads…”When I stopped hearing the bounce, I knew something was up…” I used my January Scarlet Lime kit http://www.scarletlime.com/ for this layout… which included the Letterman Thickers, the red/white ribbon and green buttons, 3 Bugs in a Rug paper: Little Red/Spread Your Wings, Scarlet Lime Exclusive paper: the green tulip paper, and the GCD green paper: Christmas Sleigh collection. Other supplies used out of my stash included the Jenni Bowlin reverse black alphabet stickers, the Doodlebug Design Blue title stickers, the round, blue circle stickers from Martha Stewart, Colorbok’s Sticky Alpha stax “Ink Edge White” stickers (again in the title), Plaid acrylic paint: Fire Engine Red, Close to My Heart acrylic stamps: Around the Block & Priceless Love Word Puzzle, yellow cardstock from the Paper Studio, & red embroidery floss from Janlynn (see little embroidered heart and border stitching.

This was a fun layout to do….I folded some of the ribbon that came in my Scarlet Lime kit and sewed it to make the flower in the upper right corner…I used the red acrylic paint around the photos….the stamps I used here (you know for the “twist”) are the X O
X O, clouds stamps, and the date stamp in the bottome left corner.
