It was well worth the wait. I love it!! The lures are wonderful and I will have to make a note about two twinkles. You look like you had a blast. I bet it was a chance in a lifetime (at least for me) to actually see a whale in its natural habitat. Thanks for sharing!
Okay, I will have to do the journaling again. I am still having problems with the computer.
This was from our trip to Canada this summer.
Journaling reads:
On Friday, Sid called and made reservations to go deep sea fishing on Monday afternoon. While waiting to go fishing, Monday, we drove out to see the North Rustico lighthouse. We later passed it on the boat on the way out. We asked Craig Nelms to go with us. Craig grew up and pastored churches in the Baton Rouge area and we knew him from there. He is now a missionary in Prince Edward Island. We had a wonderful time fishing and talking. Just before we returned, we saw a whale! It was so brief that I couldn’t get a picture. Since mom and dad won’t eat fish, we gave all of the mackerel to Craig for his family. We stopped and picked up some fresh lobster for supper. It was Sid’s first lobster and he loved it!
products: Deluxe Cut Color Blocking Template (I modified it a bit), bazzill cardstock, Two Twinkles brads, ribbon and wire art fishing flies.
