This is so cute and creative. Love it. The bar my dh and I have been going to for 28 years used to have a Ms. Pacman game table and I always had to sit there with my glass of wine playing this fun game. I wish they still had it. I so understand the attraction.
Cute cute cute & so clever!! THat is amazing that it still works! I thinked I played a few years of my life away on that game lol!! Wonderful job of capturing a memory! tfs;)

I love this page! You did a great job! We were married about the same time as you. We LOVED the arcade games. We had the first Atari too. Your page is wonderful.
This is tooo cute! Your doodled background looks fabulous! You are soo creative! Love the border punch and the title lettering! Fantastic work! Into my faves!
So funny! We all loved Pac man once!! love all the work you put into creating this one!! And you are right, if you hold on to it long enough you will eventually find a use for it!!
Oh you are just too clever! This is so unique - and now I have some good ideas for my own adorable swiss cheese punch that I have yet to take out of its packaging two years later!!!
We still have our original Atari! Pacman still rocks! So glad you found time to scrap again because this page is awesome. How clever of you to draw the game. Now you just need one of those scrapbook page recording devices to add the song! Sarah would love it!!
perfect layout for the pics! I remember when these were made...I think we all loved the pacman game. I think i have a picture of you playing it too! just adorable!!
After three weeks of no scrapping (we've been painting again - this time my oldest son's rooms in the basement), I finally got a few hours of scrap time yesterday. This is the result...
Journaling reads: "When we first married, one of our favorite fun dates was to go to the arcade and play games. One of Jerry's favorites was PacMan. So, for Christmas 1982, I bought him a hand held PacMan game. He loved it and would play for hours. Amazingly, nearly 30 years later, it still works! These photos were taken at Susan and Butch's house in Pensacola."
I about drove Sarah crazy while I was working on this layout. I had to keep turning the game on and off to see the screen again while I was drawing the copy of it onto the black cs. Every time I turned it on again, the little song would play - and there is no volume control! LOL!!! I used the swiss cheese punch for the edges and cut out a frame and backed it with yellow, then layered it onto the black. The white lines, dots and letters are done with a Signo pen. The bottoms of the little "ghosts" are cut with Fiskars heartstrings scissors. The PacMen are circle punches, and the stars are punches. For the journaling I turned my background black and did white lettering. The red plaid pp is really old 8-1/2 x 11 paper that I got years ago, but it matched Jerry's shirt almost perfectly! I guess if you keep something long enough, you'll eventually find a use for it. Thanks so much for looking!
