My daughter's first words and words that followed. Journaling reads:
"It was Easter weekend. Was that what I thought it was? Did you just say "uh-oh?" I wasn't quite sure. Dad wasn't either. Does "uh-oh" qualify as a word? A few days later, I decided that "uh-oh" was your first word! You understood what it meant and that's all that mattered. This word came at thirteen and a half months and "uh-oh" was going in your baby book as your official first word! These were followed by 'bye,' 'no,' 'hi,' 'wow!' whoa!' 'mama,' 'ah-da' {all done}, 'see,' 'kitty,' 'hot,' 'dada,' 'owls' {owies} :), 'baby,' 'now,' 'Elmo,' 'shoe,' and 'mow' {meow}. And let's not forget Dora, although you called her 'dada' too."
