*No Pattern Paper*

Thank you Jodi (Twinkletwinklestarr) for the star and flowers stamps. I stamped on white paper and colored and cut out the stars and flowers. I put star sequins in the middle of the stars and added a few more on the page. Thank you Veronica (Artsyscrapmom) for the blue paper, white alpha stickers and the grass, plus the cotton ball idea for the clouds. I painted clouds, used the cotton balls and cut clouds out of paper and used 3-D dots to make them pop out (from Jackie (*Jaq*)...thank you). I saw that wooden zebra and had to pick it up since it looked just like Andrew's Nigh-nite so I could make a page about it.

This is the day Andrew and Nigh-nite became best friends. This was the first time Andrew slept in his crib, and became literally attached to Nigh-nite. Nigh-nite is a little stuffed zebra with a rattle in it attached to a small blanket with a picture of a zebra and My Best Friend written on it. Andrew used to suck on it's ears and hands as an infant. So naturally it would have to take a bath often and the torture Andrew went through for an hour while it was getting washed was torture for Mommy. (It never made the dryer). There are no replacements...only that one. It went everywhere Andrew went. As a toddler he sleeps with Nigh-nite at his feet and keeps it in his lap at home. When Andrew goes to school, Nigh-nite stays in bed and a picture of it is in Andrew's lunch box. Out of 5 years from wear and tear Nigh-nite has been through 2 surgeries and Andrew ever so gently held its hand patiently waiting for its recovery. Andrew also speaks Nigh-nite talk which consists of soft high pitch whines...talking to and for Nigh-nite. Andrew usually does Nigh-nite talk when it is lost somewhere in the house going around calling for it. There is no truer friendship...Nigh-nite is always there to comfort Andrew in every way.
