Oh, this is another wonderful LO. I love how you used this "bad" photo. How many of us have one of these "finger" photos? Bravo for using yours and your heartfelt journaling.
Wonderful job on the challenge, and such a sweet, sweet lo! I did not have any photos taken of myself during my one and only pregnancy, so I know how precious even these photos are. Love everything you did here!
Good for you! Great way to make the pictures work for this layout, your children will always appreciate what a special time this was for you because of the wonderful layout and the touching journaling.
Wow. What great use of an imperfect photo. The LO is wonderful and the journaling so unique. You should totally submit this to a scrapping mag. Sometimes they show ways to use your not-so-perfect photos. This would be a wonderful example
OMGosh..I can't believe what happend. This LO turned out so wonderful, even if you DH blocked your face. We all wanted to know what our moms looked like and Allan with always know. Great LO!
I love the color combo on this page:) I dont think this is a bad LO at all. The only thing that bothers me a little bit about it is the way the polka dot triangle comes down into the page... I guess because it comes to a point there my eye is automaticly drawn there first.. but then its empty right there.. Maybe you could find something to cover the point of it.. Maybe run some ribbon or fibers through a buckle in the middle or something, it would dress it up a bit. and again that is just my opinion.. I do LOVE the pregnant woman form cut out that you used. Did you make that yourself or purchace it somewhere?
You incorporated a mishap into the journaling. I think it creates a whole new dimension to the lo. Those are the "human quirks" that really give lo's personality. I love it.
I have 3 pictures of me pregnant. My one and only pregnancy. So I can relate a little.
This is for the weekly challenge of using a bad picture.
Journaling Reads:
The Pregnancy Picture.. So here it is…THE infamous pregnancy picture. There are a lot of things you don’t see in this picture. Your dad and I were both working full-time. Your dad at Victor Plumbing and I worked at Salem Memorial Hospital as a receptionist. On this day, I realized we didn’t have any belly shots yet. Your dad accidentally put his finger in front of the lens. When I got these pictures back, I cried. I had already given birth and couldn’t get any pregnancy pictures. So this is it.....you may not see my face but what you also don’t see is all the love and excitement we shared in the anticipation of you joining our family. We love you Allan, and were so excited to be pregnant with you….even if the picture doesn’t show it.
