This is for the February Scraplifting 101 Challenge. It is a lift of Jana E's Ice Cream Alley. This is a pic of my maternal grandparents and my mother at Hunting Beach in Beaufort, S.C. in 1947 when my mom was 4. They were on their way to see one of my grandmother's sisters and stopped at the beach so my mom could swim in the ocean. The picture is not great because it is a scan of an original that was in very poor condition. You can't see it, but my grandmother is wearing high heels on the beach - I have no clue how she was able to walk around in the wet sand with them on!
