I had the same problem with the lids not closing properly. I got so frustrated that I got rid of the thing. Hope yours works better!

I used to have one of these containers but the lids on the removable units didn't close all the way leaving little gaps where the smaller brads and such would fall out. :( I got it used, so maybe the person before me was a little aggressive with it? Anyway, yours looks like it works great!

Small embellie storage

I keep my small embellies like brads and eyelets in these containers that are attached to this caddy. I have 2 of these full of tiny goodies and love the fact that the containers are removable so you don't have to lug the whole thing around.
