Journaling reads: Misunderstood. At just a little over a year old, Pixie remains afraid of new
people and new dogs. Her barks and growls are mistaken for aggression.
We know what is behind those barks . . . fear. It makes me sad that
when people ask to pet her, I have so say no. It's an ongoing, daily
process to get Pixie out to meet new people and experience new
sights and sounds. Slowly, she is beginning to feel more comfortable
in new situations. I wish the world could see the Pixie I know . . .
happy, playful and a dog that loves me with all of her being.
