Looks like I'm back on the teenager trend (and the vintage tickets lol!) Thought I'd make a page about my 14-year-old son who has now decided not to smile in any photos. It is such a shame because he has an amazing smile...just lights up his face. In this photo, he's the closest to smiling that I've seen in quite awhile. This is all 7 Gypsies, except the top and bottom scalloped borders are Sassafrass Lass. The buttons are from my mother's vintage button jar. I stitched the bottom pleated red border before I glued it down with the ribbon on top of the seam. Had to laugh...I'm sewing buttons and stitching pleated paper, yet there's a bunch of pants that are waiting to be hemmed in my house!! I used the Ironworks Glimmer screens for the mask and sprayed with Chocolate Cherries. The title chipboard alpha is older Heidi Swapp. I stamped Boys Will Be Boys on the blank tix with my ancient Making Memories magnetic alpha stamp set. It's actually a cool font, kind of old typewriter style, called "Rummage". To stamp I used Tim Holtz's distress Black Soot. First time I've used 7 Gypsies pps, and I really like the vintage look they have. (Thanks again to my dear friend SandPapers for giving me the link to the vintage tickets...in my Valentine's Day blog)
