Oh Tracy, I love this!! I remember doing themed parties for my girls when they were young...such fun! Your Olivia must have been thrilled as you did an awesome job with the Fancy Nancy theme! The LO is wonderful...I LOVE your lollipop flowers! What a great idea to include the party invite and the supply list! Altogether wonderful!
This layout has lots of handmade embellies and was so much fun to finally put together! Much of the products are from the Scarlet Lime February kit, but I added plenty from my own stash as well.
I made the 3 double layered butterflies with my Slice. I posted them separately so I could put them in the Slice forum. They are embossed, stickled, and for one of them serendipity led me to discover a way to make fake grungeboard (check out the green butterfly up close)! The lolipop flowers were made mostly from paper in the American Crafts Botanique line and other pretty papers that came in the kit. Buttons and Prima pebbles are from the kit. Chipboard flourishes are from my stash, Basic Grey cupcakes line, maybe. The thickers also came in the kit, and I stickled them in Fruit punch to make them seem less orange and more peachy. The birthday party invitation is tucked behind.
Photos are of the decorated dining room before the party started. Journalling says: For Olivia's fourth b-day she asked for a Fancy Nancy party. We went all out and decorated the house with ribbons, baubles, and bows. Everyone wore feather boas, beaded necklaces, and tiaras or top-hats. We chose the plainest grown-up (Krista) and gave her a fancy makeover!
