I love the quote, so perfect for a wedding layout and you did a GREAT job lining up the openings to highlight your photos - which is not an easy thing to do - a treat to look at!
Okay, I've always wondering what you are supposed to do with vellum. This is a wonderful use! I have so often cut up pics because the main focus was so tiny in the overall picture. I have a few pieces of vellum that came in a kit, I think I will try this next time!
I love what you did with the vellum on this. You can see the outline of the church very well, but it really focuses on what you should be looking at the bride & groom. Great job!
Thanks LibbyJo,
All of your advice has been so helpful. I did enter this one in the contest. This neighborhood is so neat, I love all the comments and community feeling.
Why don't you enter this in January's contest? It is called "versatile vellum" and I think you did a really nice job revealling the special parts of the photos through the vellum. To move it, all you have to do is go to the "edit photo' option right under the photo and then change the category where you chose "Wedding and Anniversary" you can change it to this contest.
Good luck!
Libby
Another great LO. I'm working on my wedding album right now and you are giving me some inspiration...thank you!
Your quote was one of the songs from our ceremony. Small world!
I cut square peepholes in the vellum to focus the viwer in on the subject, the people, but still allow the beautiful details of the two historic buildings to show through. I also printed the titles on the vellum paper so the branching paper behind shows.
