I just recently did a special page for our lost family pet, actually one of my first L/O. They become family, and it is a sad time, but what a beautiful way to remember them. Your L/O's actually hepled me prepare a special one for my dog Girlie, it turned out so nice that my older children want one to put in their home. She was very loved and always will be. Sorry for the loss of your companion......

Gabrielle the picture is beautiful. What was her illness, if you don't mind me asking. I know how hard it is to lose a pet. I have lost 4 dogs within the last 3 years due to illness also. I still have 4 left, but 1 has a thyroid problem and the other has cushings disease which is horrible for people let alone your pet. I am very sorry that you lost part of your family. My dogs are our children, we don't have kids, so they are spoiled rotten, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I still cry for my 4 that I have lost but mostly for my little Cinnamon that was so sick when we adopted him from a rescue in Maryland, and 2 yrs later he was diagnosed with cancer of the esphogus and even though we found a surgeon to remove and went through the chemo with him every 2 weeks, the tumor was growing back during the chemo and we had to make the hard decision as you did to put him down. I miss him terribly, I have all 4 of their collars hanging on my bed post to remind me of how much we loved and miss them. My heart goes out to you and your family. God bless. Denise

This is such a wonderful tribute! I've just made a page about my little friend too. She is suffering of a congenital hydrocephalus, she's only 6 years old and we just discovery it this mounth. She has convulsions and I'm so worried about her, I think I can imagine what you 're feeling. So sory about your loss. This is so beautiful LO.

OMGosh, I know exactly what you mean. Just today I was walking in our backyard and had to stop and look at the bare spot by the shed where we buried our sweet Bonnie Girl. I still tear up and soon it will be a year. But that's how we feel, it's like losing a member of our family. Your dog was beautiful and the picture is beautiful. And I'm glad you scrapped it, and go on and scrap another one. That's what I did, and the pages make me smile now. Well, with teary eyes. Love the page!

What a beautiful pup! I feel your pain I lost mine 2 1/2 years ago and I type this through tears from one dog mom to another, it hurts real bad, they come into our lives for a reason why they can't stay longer I still don't understand! Great memory piece!

I read about your poor Mocha on the comment below in the activity stream. I feel so badly for you. I lost my little fur baby in August '09 to illness so I know how crushed you feel. I am so sorry Gabi --I lost my Princess in 2005 and it still hurts !! Plus with the divorce i had to give my 2 dogs to my old neighboor. But she does spoil them to death !! And the guy who bought my horses sends me pictured of them all the time. It's a beautiful tribute to your friendship. Awesome job !!
