This is a really special layout for me because of the picture. It is one of only 2 I have of my grandfather whom I never saw. Very sad that he went off to WWII, returned home ok, Grandmother got pregnant with child in the pram but she was quite old to be have another baby, 22 yrs after my mother her previous youngest was born. He walked out and went to another State not long after this picture, my nan with auntie moved in with mum and dad and were still with us long after I was born. It must have had a bad effect on my Aunt who ony ever saw her father once when he came home for Xmas, she was 7 and I was a baby. Nobody in the family spoke of him much but I would have loved to have met him.

the Dressmaker model on the printed b/ground was actually an ATC sent to me years ago in a swap by Kylie Mell from Western Australia, love her work, always wondered when I was going to find a use for my album fulll of ATC's, no I know I will use more on my l/outs. I have journalled the above story on the back of that which is on the layout with velcro.
