Ok, here's the truth...my Uncle Victor (passed away 25 years ago) was a Ukrainian farm boy here in Alberta! He's not a "Proper Vintage Gentleman" as the title suggests, however, when I saw this photo, I suddenly realized a couple of things: one, my uncle played the fiddle (which I didn't know) and two, you can live on the farm and still be a gentleman. :) This was an experiment with the new Graphic 45, and I tried Smooch spritz for the first time. I do like the vintage feel of these pps. I think I'm most excited about one of the smallest embellishments...the hat I cut out and made a hat band with a brown satin ribbon :) I also had fun making those 3 flowers with patterned pp and brads (cut circles, spritzed water, crumpled, dried and spritzed again with the Smooch...then had a nap. lol!) My very first vintage lo, and I do believe there's many more to come cuz my heritage photos are trying to break out of their boxes!!! Thanks for looking :)
