John Babcock was Canada's last survivng WWI veteran. He passed away on Feb 18, 2010 at the age of 109. I wrote to him last year to say "Hello". He signed the white card I sent. He wrote a letter on his stationary thanking me for the postcard of The Eaton's Centre I sent to him. He mentioned that he remembers buying a pair of shoes there. He also signed and sent to me a color photo of himself. I took snapshots of the items he signed and then printed them on photo. Take a close look and you will notice that I turned the photo of him in a 3-D photo.
The background paper came from a DCWV stack pad of 12 x 12 paper but I don't know which one. K & Company Recycled pad paper was used for the letter and to matte some of the photos.
