This is truly a very unique LO, and the journaling is just perfect in every way. I love this LO, it has brought many streaming tears down my cheek thank you, for sharing your most intimate feelings for your son, he sure has a wonderful mommy.
CONGRATULATIONS on winning the Scrapbook.com $20,0000 Layout contest!!!! This is a stunning picture. And you did justice with your huge title, the ring weaving through the letters, the safety pin, the ribbons, the colors, and that precious handprint! Good job on the journaling, too! And God bless Landon.
Huge congrats on the 20K! And... must I say.... I just had my 2nd DD 3/30 and was inspired by this layout to get her handprint.... how you were able to do that, I'll never know. My girl balled her hands up the minute I tried to apply paint. Love this layout. It's in my faves!

This is amazing! Beautiful colors, beautiful photo, beautiful lettering, beautiful journaling... your son is going to treasure this forever! Thanks for sharing it :)
I had so much fun with this layout! I had been dying to try the new Basic Grey Oh Baby! Boy line and I knew it was right for this picture of Landon and I. I also wanted to document his handprint and I did so on this layout using paint in the upper right hand corner. I think that was the hardest part of the whole layout though! Thanks for looking!
Hidden Journaling Reads:
When I look at you, I can't help but think of these small, perfect hands. Right now, they are these tiny, little fingers with dimples for knuckles. But soon, they will lose the baby fat and get dirt under their nails. They will have scrapes and cuts from being a boy. They will continue to grow into the hands of a man that will see good times and tough times. And someday, these hands are going to make a difference in someone's world. Maybe they will help build a home or create works of art. Maybe they will shake the hands of famous people; maybe they will help heal the sick. They will wipe a tear away from a loved one's face, they will warm someone's cold hands. They will one day hold their own children and grandchildren; and they will applaud their accomplishments. These hands have all the potential to make a difference in this world. I hope that I can teach you to use these hands to help, heal and love those around you. I hope these hands will care for me one day, as I am caring for them. I pray that these hands will find a way to make this world better, to use them for a purpose .... But for now, these tiny, precious little hands are mine to love and to hold.
