I made this LO in honour of my son Spencer.

I used a rusty red colour, a colour I have never used before and I wouldn't normally even take a second look at.

The embossed moulding strips on the top and bottom of the photo are from Making Memories.
I sanded them and then painted them and the sanded again once the paint was dry to acheive the distressed look.

New product: I used aluminum tape to emboss the title and then dry brushed paints and buffed it to create the antique look.

(Aluminum tape is a thin type of tape used to seal duct work. It is very thin which makes it great for embossing and it has a peel-off adhesive backing!
Voila! No glue or adhesives required! Try it! You can find it in your local hardware store. It's NOT fibrous like the grey duct tape.)
