Hi everyone! This is my engagement ring. Haven't felt much like scrapping but I remembered that I forgot to post this LO which I made during last summer. I created it so that my sons, Michael and Will, do not forget the origins of this ring. This looks so much prettier IRL.

Journaling tells how this ring belonged to their maternal great grandmother who, in turn, took her mother's ring after she died and had her diamond and her mother's diamond placed onto one setting.

If interested, journaling reads:
"I wear a very special ring. Not just any ring, but your great grandmother's engagement ring. It is a family heirloom. Let me explain:

Your father presented this ring to me for our engagement on June 4, 1989. One diamond belonged to your maternral great-grandmother, Bertha Harnett, while the second diamond belonged to Bertha's mother, Sarah Goldberg. Upon Sarah's death, Bertha took her mother's ring and her own ring and had the two diamonds placed on one setting. Through all these years, this ring has been a symbol of everlasting love."
