This is so beautiful! Love the pearls bordering the photo and swirling beside the flowers. The lace matting the photo looks so pretty....a gorgeous vintage page!
O. M. G. This is gorgeous! I love the way you placed the flower clusters. They are perfect. The pearl and lace frame is so nostalgic! Going in my favs!
wow this is stunning! The way you have altered these flowers and looks remind me of my grandmother's album and all the cards she kept. I love her dress and the wonderful condition these photos are in is amazing!
I love the pearl effect but the lace just really brings it home to that era! Wonderful layout!
This is absolutely gorgeous. I love the die cut paper and that line. I too came across some old family photos and am starting to scrap them. Its great to scrap old photos. I also don't journal on the front of mine, however I do put who they are on the back of the LO for future generations. cArol.
Jeannie, this is just exquisite! I enjoyed reading your wonderful story. I especially love the pearls and the pearl flourishes! Wonderful tribute to a very special lady!

My maternal grandmother. This was taken around 1924. She was very petite, only 4'10''. As a little girl I thought that was quite cool. We visited her once when I was 9 and I was thrilled that while playing dress ups, I could fit into her shoes..size 4. She was a WW1 bride from London. She was such a sweet lady. She lived across the country and so I never got to know her as well as I would have loved to. Journaling is on the back but I may journal on the front when I can figure out how and where to put it. bg pp is from Basic Grey Infuse. die cut pp is Websters Pages which I inked around the edges with Dune cats eye chalk. Flowers are Prima. Pearl flourish by ZVA. Pebble by Prima. The acrylic flowers at top are by Melissa Francis, originally white. I painted them with Copics and smooch. Letters are once of the first things I ever bought for scrapping by Creative Imaginations and the lace is from a local fabric store. Pearl frame by zva and colored them pink with my Copics.
