The Running of the Olympic Torch
Journaling: The Olympic torch began its journey on December 8, 2005 and passed through the area of Italy we were living in on January 28, 2006 on its way to Torino. We stood on the side of the street with the anxious Italian community waiting for the runner to come into view. Sponsor representatives from Coca-Cola handed out little cans of Coke that were printed with Olympic logos and flags were passed out as well. When the torch came into view, everyone waved their flags and cheered. It was a once in a lifetime experience.. And I was there!
Viaggio Della Fiamma Olimpica; on side one of the flag basically translates into... The travels of the Olymipc Flame/torch.
I have no idea what all the words (green, white and red) say on side two of the flag.
No products have been added to this project.
