PP: Paperbilities, Basic Grey & Scenic Route Mulberry: Paper Crafts Lace Other: SU stamps & Burgundy ink, SU tag, Ranger Tea Dye distressing ink, Heidi Swapp rub-ons, Stampcraft letter stamps, Chatterbox Rub-ons, MM rub-ons, Gold ink & embossing powder, EK Success fasteners, Zig pen – black, ribbon Fun tips: I pulled the title onto the second page. I placed the names of my Grandmothers, my mother and myself – on the pictures from our wedding days. That was the best thing about this LO – I was able to put a picture of my Great-Grandma, my Grandma, my Mother and myself on our wedding days (I also used the MM rub-ons to include the year of the weddings). I took the BG paper that had a natural curve on it – and cut it to mirror each other on opposite pages. On the curve of the second page – I used rub-ons to list the four values these ladies taught me – “love”, “honor”, “cherish”, and “respect”.
Journaling: I am the woman I am today because of the values of my Great-Grandmother Eda, my Grandmother Veta, and my Mother Dixie. These beautiful, strong women have taught me through their actions how to be a loving wife. They have shown me how to gently be a mother. Eighty-nine years may have passed between our marriages, and they may have passed away, but their lessons are always in my heart. And they are always in my soul, so I carry them with me where ever I go. Becky HIggins Sketch
